Our Story
Gifts of Grace Creations was born from a quiet moment of healing — a simple desire to create something soft, warm, and comforting with my hands. What began as a personal challenge to learn crochet soon became a grounding practice, a way to unwind, and a gentle pathway back to myself.
My first pieces were made for my daughters, now grown, and for extended family and friends welcoming their newborn babies. Baby blankets, tiny hats, vests, little bags — each one was a practice piece, a learning piece, and a labour of love. As I stitched, I realised that this small act of making held something deeper: comfort, connection, and the joy of giving.
But as I crocheted, something deeper took shape — the realisation that the warmth I was creating could wrap not only my own children, but babies in need of comfort, care, and dignity. Over time, I saw that selling some of my handmade pieces could help fund the ongoing donation of baby vests, hats, and blankets to charities and organisations supporting newborns.
This became the heart of Gifts of Grace Creations: a small social enterprise where every purchase helps sustain and grow the work of gifting handmade babywear to babies in need.
Every piece purchased helps fund the ongoing donation of handmade baby items to a selected group of charities and community organisations supporting expecting mothers and newborns in need. Customers can also choose to purchase a vest or hat specifically to donate, joining the circle of giving in a tangible and meaningful way.
Each creation is handmade slowly and thoughtfully using high‑quality New Zealand wool — soft on delicate skin, breathable, warm, and timeless. But the true value lies in the intention behind every stitch: compassion, connection, and the belief that every baby deserves to be welcomed with warmth and love.
This is more than babywear. It’s a movement of grace. A practice of giving. A way to wrap our tiniest ones in softness and hope.
From my hands to your home — and from your purchase to a baby in need — thank you for being part of this story of warmth, healing, and love.
